About Karyn Brasky Kozy, Ph.D.

Dr. Kozy is a clinical psychologist who specializes in providing evidence-based treatments for children, teens, young adults, and parents. With over 20 years in the mental health field and 10 years practicing as a licensed psychologist, she has developed valuable clinical skills in her work providing therapy to children, teens, young adults, and parents.

Dr. Kozy’s areas of expertise include child/teen clients with anxiety, mood, behavioral, and attentional concerns. In her treatment with children, teens, young adults, and parents, she utilizes evidenced-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and parent management training (PMT).

In addition, Dr. Kozy has worked with children, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings, including hospitals, university-affiliated outpatient clinics, schools, community mental health centers, and private practice.

In her free time, Dr. Kozy enjoys biking, running, yoga, gardening, cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
